Jay has been working with Clay Tate for the past six years. His expertise has helped countless clients close quickly and efficiently. He is a Franklin, Tennessee native and graduated from the University of Tennessee – Knoxville before receiving his Juris Doctor degree from the Cecil C. Humphries School of Law at Memphis University. Through his work with Chapman & Rosenthal Title in Nashville, he specializes in the areas of contracts, real property and real property transactions.

Terry Booth, Contract Coordinator

Terry Booth is a licensed Realtor in the state of Tennessee.  For the past five years she has assisted Clay Tate with the “behind the scenes” aspect of getting transactions to the closing table.  Her attention to detail, broad knowledge of the real estate industry and determination to indulge our clients with first class service helps to ensure a smooth transaction. She prides herself in being readily available and communicating effectively throughout the process.

Terry is here to help you stay on top of your contract timelines, to make sure all your “t’s are crossed” and your “I’s are dotted.”  She make sure your lender and title company get all the necessary documents they need to ensure a successful, streamlined.  Terry is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Tennessee Association of Realtors, Williamson County Association of Realtors, Licensed Tennessee Real Estate Affiliate Brokers and an Accredited Buyers Representative of ABR.

Hannah Tate, Marketing

Hannah brings a full background in marketing experience including publicity and broadcast journalism. She has worked for CNN in Washington, D.C. and at KOTV in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 2003 she moved to Nashville, Tennessee to work as the Director of Marketing and Publicity for Mercy Ministries, an International non-profit organization. Hannah was recruited to Propeller Consulting, a Christian Marketing Firm in 2007 as the Director of Publicity and Events. After having her first child, she started her own Publicity Firm working with small companies around Nashville to boost their image and media exposure. Now with three kids in school, Hannah leads the charge for Tate Real Estate in all things marketing and publicity.

Ken Tate, Chief Financial Officer

Ken Tate is an M.S. graduate with 49 years of progressive responsibility with a record of success in programming, personnel and financial management while working for the Lexington Fayette Urban County Government and most recently, Fayette County Schools Board of Education as Director of Operations. In that role he exercised general supervision over the maintenance of approximately 856 acres, established in-house controls over expenditures while preparing and administering an annual budget of approximately three million dollars.
